Hello! I'm Sahil

​

I am an engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. I am working on Automated Driving Safety in Mercedes-Benz IDC5 AD software. I am working on a basic simulator that incorporates the behaviours of the Autonomous Vehicle which will enable faster scenario creation and function testing. I build a simulator for finding the unknown hazardous scenarios where the actor vehicle automatically creates an unsafe scenario for the Ego vehicle using Reinforcement Learning. I did my master's in Mechatronics engineering from IIT Patna with a CPI of 9.52. I did my master's Thesis at Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, under Prof. Jan Peters chair at Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS) lab researching Robot learning and AI. My master's project is "Autonomous vehicle for Object detection and avoidance using Reinforcement Learning for the indoor environment." I have experience in Robot Operating systems (ROS), Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning. I have published a paper on" Design and Manufacturing of Frisbee Launching Robot" in the International Journal of Current Engineering and Technology with an Impact Factor of 7.151. I'm an experienced Product Design Engineer and have completed Frisbee Launching Robot, Auto Simulator, Pole climbing Robot and Badminton Playing robot project in my B-tech Tenure. I also have a YouTube channel where I teach CAD. Strong engineering professional with a Bachelor's Degree focused on Mechanical Engineering.
